Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her before prevailing by TKO in second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major role. Ladd's win was a majority decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and end Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
